What Are Progressive Green Tariffs?

Unlike flat-rate tariffs, our Progressive Green Tariffs are structured to reward customers for higher and more consistent consumption. The more renewable electricity or green thermal energy (steam/heat) you consume, the lower the unit price you pay. This ensures that small users can participate without barriers, while large users benefit from economies of scale.

This model allows us to:

• Encourage inclusivity: SMEs and smaller factories can access CBAM-accepted green power without high upfront commitments.

• Reward scale: Large factories and industrial estates with higher offtake volumes receive discounted rates.

• Provide stability: Tariffs are linked to official indices — Thailand’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) for electricity, and the HFO/LPG benchmarks from EPPO for steam — ensuring transparency and competitiveness against fossil alternatives.

Thermal Energy Pricing (Steam/Heat Supply)

• PGT Base Tariff: Benchmarked against fossil boiler fuels (HFO, LPG, coal).

• Progressive Rate Bands:

  • Small steam users: competitive vs. HFO-fired boilers.

  • Medium–large users: discounts at higher tonnage.

  • Estate-scale networks: anchor rate for central steam supply.

• Escalation: Quarterly adjustment tied to EPPO-published HFO reference prices, capped to protect customers from volatility.
